Asking The Right Questions

The Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District wants to know how we can better serve the Boca Raton community at our parks.

To achieve that goal, we've started placing stickers with QR codes at buildings in our parks. Scanning the codes takes visitors to a brief survey asking participants to “Tell Us About Your Visit.”

“It's great for measuring how visitors feel about using our parks,” District Executive Director Briann Harms said.

The survey is part of the District's effort to achieve it's stated 2025-26 fiscal-year goal of increasing community engagement and transparency.

The first of the stickers are already in place at all four doors exiting the Patch Reef Paddle & Racquet Center. In the coming days survey stickers will be placed within the community centers at Sugar Sand Park and the Boca Raton Swim and Racquet Club.

The survey is designed to help the District improve customer service within the parks. It asks participants to rate from one to five stars three topics:

1. Please rate your experience today.
2. Please rate the cleanliness of the facility today.
3. Please rate your customer service experience today.

There is also a field at the end of the survey where participants can share any other information about their visit.

The survey is designed to be completed quickly, and does not require the participant's email address or phone number to be entered.

The customer service survey is the first of the surveys the District plans to issue.

There is also a plan for a wider scale survey of the Boca Raton community to gauge future recreational needs.
