North Park Presentation Order Determined At Friday Zoom Meeting

The Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District received nine responses to its Request For Proposals for North Park recreational facilities.

8am Golf, Boca Surf Park, Boca Sports and Entertainment, Boys & Girls Club. Ellish Builders, Kemper Sports, Newell Golf, Wave House Boca and the YMCA filed proposals for amenities ranging from golf course features, to a surf park, to youth and community recreational facilities.

Firms will present their proposals to District Commissioners during meetings held Oct. 6 and Oct. 7 at Sugar Sand Park's Willow Theatre. 

The District will hold a Zoom meeting on Friday, Sept. 19 at 9 a.m. to conduct a blind draw, determining which presenters will present on which day, and the order of those presentations. Choosing the order randomly aids in achieving the District's goals of transparency and fairness by ensuring no proposer is given an advantage.
