It’s almost time to register for Summer Camp! Registration begins Monday, March 11 for Residents and Monday, March 18 for Non-residents. Please note that the WebTrac registration software has been updated. Please log into your account ahead of time to ensure that your household information (including birthdates and current grade levels) is correct. Please call 561-544-8540 x1 if updates are required, or if you are having difficulty with your account.

Attention current WebTrac users: Every 2 years the City requires WebTrac users to re-verify residency in person. If you have not registered for a class/program in the last two years, your username & password are no longer valid.  To be reset in the system, you must come in person to a Community Center, Tennis Center, or Sugar Sand Field House to re-activate your WebTrac account.  You must bring proof of residency at that time to continue to receive resident rates for on-line registrations.

Info: This week-long camp is part of a one-of-a-kind, nationally recognized program designed to create extraordinary fun the makes great kids appear! Each magic lesson builds character, confidence, and communication skills that will positively impact your child for the rest of their life. We focus on magic, fun, and learning.  The MAGIC makes the FUN happen; the FUN makes the LEARNING easy! Materials Fee $70 (Magic Kit: carrying case, printed materials, supplies/props for each class, lifetime access to the online Video Vault, and an exclusive graduation certificate and wand) is payable to the instructor prior to the first class. Promotes creativity, self-confidence, and empathy.

Info: Unlock your child’s inner genius with STEM wonders! Delve into a world where imagination meets innovation. Introduce your young prodigy to our dynamic class, where curious minds transform ordinary building blocks into extraordinary contraptions that spark wonder and ignite creativity. Gift your child this unique opportunity to lay the foundation for a future filled with endless possibilities, achievements, and curiosity. Demo for parents on Friday at Materials Fee $25 (t-shirt, craft supplies) payable to the instructor on the first day of camp. Promotes critical thinking, creativity, and coding skills.

LOL FILM MAKING: STOP MOTION ANIMATION

Program Name:  LOL FILM MAKING: STOP MOTION ANIMATION

Ages: 7-12

Time: Monday-Friday  8:30am-3:00pm

Info: Fill your week with action, adventure and a lot of comedy with this Senior Claymation and Lego animation camp. Mentored by master filmmakers, campers will engage in hands-on exploration of the stop motion animation process, including pre-production, production and post-production. Working in small crews, they will learn about stop motion animation, set design, script writing and editing. Campers will then create their own stop motion animation and edit a short film and movie trailer, complete with sound effects, music, voice, and special effects. Movies presentation for parents at our red carpet, popcorn film festival on Friday, July 19 at 2:30pm and archived on our digital theater. Promotes literacy, technological skills, and creativity.

ZANY ZOOLOGY

ZANY ZOOLOGY

Ages: 5-10

Time: Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:00pm

This fun camp teaches kids who want to be Zoo Veterinarians, or who just love animals and want to learn about some of the ‘Amazing Creatures’ of the animal kingdom. This camp features experiments, simulations, games, and more to teach kids all about the Zoologist career. Animals we will explore include chameleons, poison dart frogs, penguins, and more! Animal anatomy, adaptations, diet, habitat, and more will be covered. No live animals. Materials fee $35 (non-domesticated plush animal, chameleon slime and model, owl pellet, and camp shirt) payable to the instructor on the first day of camp. Promotes critical thinking, planning & problem-solving skills, and teamwork.

ECO CREATIONS

Time: Monday-Friday 8:30am-1:00pm

Info: Students will create hands-on projects, learn how to use different materials, and explore different artistic techniques. At the end of every camp day, students will have a completed project to take home. Projects will include canvas painting, watercolor paintings, 3D mixed media pieces, etc. Promotes fine motor skill development and self-expression.
