Sugar Sand Park played a vital role in helping the Boca Raton community celebrate America's 250th birthday. As part of the city's Fabulous Fourth festivities, Sugar Sand held an afternoon block party. Visitors dressed in patriotic garb enjoyed crafts and face painting inside the community center. They dined on fare from food trucks. Many took a ride on the carousel or climbed inside the science playground. Happy Birthday America!
